Currently Artisan Ministry Band is the front runner of Artisan Ministries which ministers to churches/schools annually through organizing worship camps, leading with praise & worship & more. Artisan ministry band’s aim is to restore worship to its rightful position in the church and Christian life

HOW ARTISAN STARTED

Artisan started in June 2002. It is based on a scripture God placed on my heart. “And He has filled him with the spirit of God, with skill, ability and knowledge in all kinds of crafts” Ex 35:31 Brief testimony: Franco always used session musicians, but God has put in motion a plan to start something bigger than just doing a few gigs. He received the scripture after pleading with God to reveal his ministry. He was at the place to quit ministry all together because of waiting a long time to see what God’s plan was. After receiving the scripture he made one phone call, and within 15min a whole band was formed. That by it self is a miracle. Starting a band can take a very long time. God came through in less that 15min The founding members were Franco Gagiano, Gavin Young, Jacques Giani, Carel van Wyk and Fanie Engelbrecht. Artisan was founded firstly as a band. Our first ministry event was a 24Hr Praise and Worship at Vredelust NG.
